About B.Ed. Course
 
B.Ed Course is offered on full time basis for two years. Each student will have to take perspective in Education subjects and curriculum and Pedagogic studies along with engagement with the field as Practical components.

Eligibility

Candidates with the following marks in the Bachelor’s Degree are eligible for admission to the course. Marks in part III and Allied of UG Course for the following Community / Category.

In the case of physically or visually challenged candidates, a minimum pass in the degree is enough

Attendance

Each student should gain 85% (i.e 153 days) of attendance, failing which they will not be permitted to appear for the B.Ed Degree examination.

Teaching Practice

Students have to undergo practice teaching in any one the recognized schools approved by state / CBCS / Matriculation / ICSE / of Anglo Indian Boards or any other Recognised Board for a continuous period of 40 working days inclusive of teaching of both the optionals.

Camp

A 5-day Citizenship Training Camp either inside or outside the campus including night stays is compulsory.
